Tool Setter

Description:

Install and set up tooling systems, including pins, guides, and other components

Fine-tune and adjust tooling settings to ensure precise operation and dimensional accuracy

Perform calibration procedures using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Conduct routine maintenance tasks on tooling systems

Replace worn or damaged components as needed

Identify and troubleshoot issues with tooling systems during production and take prompt corrective actions

Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

Adjust tooling as necessary to achieve desired quality levels

Maintain accurate records of tooling setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance on machinery

Wear proper PPE at all times

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bilingual (Spanish/ Portuguese is a plus)

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
