  • Traffic Engineer/Entry Level Civil Engineer Opportunity

    The Traffic Engineer will specialize in the design, planning, and analysis for traffic engineering projects. They will be involved in traffic data collection, preparation of traffic studies, traffic signal and marking plans, and project costs and scheduling.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare contract documents, specifications, and construction cost estimates

    • Perform engineering and design for traffic signal sequencing, traffic and crash analysis, traffic signal design, traffic phasing and timing, and traffic modeling

    • Traffic impact studies

    • Field investigations

    • Traffic data collection

    • Plan sheet development

    • Development of reports and preliminary concepts

    You do not have to have any experience within traffic specifically for this position.

    Skills

    • Civil engineering

    • Transportation

    • Civil 3D

    Must Haves

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

    • Internship or experience in engineering and design for Transportation projects

    • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or OpenRoads

    • Currently working towards PE License
