TSSCI DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a TSSCI DevSecOps Engineer to sit hybrid out of Aberdeen, MD in support of a large government contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, security practices, and operations. In this role, the candidate will work closely with intelligence teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, automate security testing, and ensure compliance with security standards. The ideal individual will have hands on experience administrating DevSecOps technologies in a production environment (GitLab, Kubernetes, Nexus) and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation: $73/hr to $109/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Active TSSCI

Bachelors and 10+ years of applicable experience

Experience administrating DevSecOps technologies in a production environment (GitLab, Kubernetes, Nexus) and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Experience with various automation and testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, SonarQube)

Experience with scripting and programming tools like PowerShell, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Matlab, etc

Experience with Linux and Windows systems engineering Experience with software BOMs incorporated into product BOMs null
