Value Stream Leader, Bulk Biological Reagents

The Bulk Biological Reagents Value Stream Leader is part of the Bulk Biological Reagents team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site position. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum bachelors degree in biology, biochemistry, engineering, or microbiology or demonstrated equivalent experience of at least 10 years is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in manufacturing is required. Experience with protein and master mix products is highly preferred.

• Recombinant protein manufacturing knowledge and experience is required, preferably microbial fermentation, liquid chromatography, bioanalytical testing, and operation / programming of PLC / SCADA operated production equipment.

• Minimum 3 years in a people leader role is preferred

• Experience with application of lean tools, such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual / Daily Management, and Problem Solving is highly preferred.

• Excellent leadership skills are required, including the ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form, collaborate cross-functionally, and encourage / facilitate teamwork.

• Excellent computer skills and the ability to multitask are required.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
