    The Position and Job Summary

    • Receives and screens vendorization inquires, provides information in accordance with law and Agency policy. Receives and reviews completed applications, checks and routes.

    • Verifies vendor licenses and credentials, maintains tickler systems for periodic review, as appropriate. Notifies vendors, concerned staff and DDS of approved vendorization, rate actions and other changes. Assigns vendor numbers, establishes, and maintains paper files and computer databases on all vendors.

    • Provides analysis of vendor applications to ensure compliance with applicable statute, regulations, and Agency policy.

    • Receives, tracks, and monitors for completion, vendor contracts.

    • Prepares memos, reports and correspondence as related to the contract and vendorization functions. Performs general clerical work, as assigned.

    • Maintains and updates SANDIS, UFS, contract database and the rate table as needed.

    • Creates, maintains, and updates a report of all contracts and vendorization requests and projects.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Compensation

    This position is non-exempt. Regular salary $20.45 - $22.57 per hour.

    Education & Experience

    • A high school diploma and three (3) years of related experience.

    • Accurate and rapid typing

    • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

    • Basic skills and experience in Accounting, Computer software MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

    Essential Requirements

    • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation, or acceptable substitute, required.

    • Upon job offer acceptance, candidates will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
