    Vice President HR Airport Lounges North America

    This is a remote position with up to 40% travel in the first year and thereafter up to 25%.

    Highly prefer candidates to reside on the East Coast and must reside near a major airport.

Currently, with an annual revenue of $300M, over 100 lounges across the United States and 3,000 team members, the Airport Lounges is a fast-growing business focused on premium experience delivery for guests and strong partnerships with clients. We will be hiring an individual who will provide strategic leadership and drive operational and people excellence across the business. The business is expected to grow to $500M in the next 2-3 years.

    The role will be reporting to the CEO, Global Airport Lounges and dotted line to the Global Vice President Human Resources of Sodexo Live!.

    How You'll Make an Impact:

    As the Vice President, HR, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the "People Strategy" in support of the profitable growth plan of the business. This will include the following responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the Global Lounges CEO and the Leadership Team to drive and inform the overall business agenda and support the growth and innovation culture.

    • Design and deploy experience makers staffing strategies to ensure best in class operational delivery, leveraging the Sodexo Live! specific employee value proposition.

    • Design and drive specific talent acquisition, development and retention strategy to ensure best in class operational delivery for the airport lounges business connected with the Sodexo Live! employee value proposition.

    • Drive the HR aspects of operational excellence for newly mobilized sites and contracts.

    • Oversee and guide the deployment of Sodexo Live! values and people ambition.

    • Curate and manage leadership development frameworks to enhance the skills of current leaders, prepare future leaders, drive empowerment and accountability and support the continued effectiveness of the leadership team.

    • Leveraging the Region HR shared services when appropriate, lead and manage the HR function including Payroll, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Claims, Employee Experience, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Time and Attendance, Compliance, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and Human Capital Management systems.

    • Establish and manage integrated talent processes, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and total rewards programs.

    • Leverage Sodexo's DEI commitments to enable Sodexo Live! to serve as a role model for cultivating respect, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and strengthen the Sodexo Magic partnership.

    • Maintain a pulse on the organization, regularly seeking employee perspectives and providing insight to leadership on ways to improve the overall employee experience.

    • Drive employee engagement and employee net promoter score.

    • Define and track appropriate measures to evaluate the health of the organization and success of people-focused initiatives.

    • In close connection with the Labor relations Department, engaging in collective bargaining and transfer of contracts.

    • Manage and resolve employee relations issues and conducts effective and thorough investigations, as required.

    • Serve as a member of the Sodexo Live! Global HR Leadership Team to help drive the global and regional people strategy across the businesses.

    • Serve as a representative for the company at industry and other events and conferences, establishing relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders.

    • Act as an employer brand ambassador with clients, prospects and communities.

    • Participate in and support new business development and retention efforts.

    • Oversee outsourced HR processes and managed vendors.

    • Manage, optimize, and control the HR function budget.

    • Support planning and execution for new contract mobilization efforts.

    • Drive digitalization of people processes, leveraging regional and global best practices and initiatives.

    Job Requirements:

    • Previous experience in the hospitality industry highly preferred and strong knowledge of HR operational aspects in multi-sites hospitality environments.

    • Strong HR leadership experience with a track record of delivering in progressively more senior roles within a large, complex, and matrixed organization.

    • Knowledgeable in all main HR subject areas to include employee and labor relations, employee engagement, compliance/compliance training, remote onboarding and orientation and talent acquisition.

    • Strong business acumen with solid financial literacy and project management experience.

    • Experience coaching, influencing, building, and influencing decisions through partnering.

    • Demonstrated results staffing multiple varying sized locations, and/or large seasonal operations with complex onboarding requirements.

    • Experience managing a remote HR team and getting results through others.

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead talent strategies aligned to key business priorities.

    • Track record of serving as an independent business partner, challenging with humility, and maintaining full discretion regarding sensitive employee information.

    • Master's degree in HR preferred.
