    Job Summary and Qualifications

    Seeking a VP of Finance at South Texas Radiology Center who is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive cost accounting system to make financial recommendations by exam type, modality, facility, payor or other relevant metrics. Gather and analyze data from various sources to develop scorecards/KPI dashboards/ad-hoc reports used to assess and provide actionable solutions to assist management in business decision making. This will include participating in evaluation and selection of new ERP or accounting system to facilitate better cost reporting information. Once this project is up and running, move into more traditional VP Finance duties, as more fully described below.     What you will do in this role:

    • Oversee the preparation and evaluation of STRIC financial statements, forecasts, annual budgets, ad hoc financial reporting and/or other reports required by management or regulatory agencies.

    • Oversee the contracting process for STRIC to include managed care reimbursement, leases, materials management, & equipment maintenance agreements.

    • Assist the STRIC CFO in monitoring compliance with applicable laws related to financial/contractual matters.

    • Identify STRIC operational inefficiencies and work with applicable management to evaluate potential process changes to achieve efficiencies.

    • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and performance of the Accounting Department; recommend and implement process changes to improve customer service and overall department efficiency.

    • Analyze monthly financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting rules and regulations (including HCA's Accounting Policy Guides, Sarbanes Oxley and other financial policies).

    • Implement contract management system.

    • Become well versed in AI with an eye to implementation across the organization where beneficial.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Must have a BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or similar field.

    • Must have 4 years of progressive leadership experience with proven leadership capabilities, preferably within the healthcare industry.

    • Must have a minimum of five years of financial/accounting experience.

    • CPA preferred.

    • 1 year of data querying, transforming, and analysis experience preferred.

    • Advanced Excel, Access, Power BI and CSV skills preferred.

    • Python and SQL for custom queries and transformations preferred.

    • Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools preferred.

    Minimum License and Certificates Required :

    • CPA or MBA preferred
