1. The Company Is Making Cutbacks
If you notice the company cancels scheduled training due to lack of funds or starts laying off quality employees, it may be time to look for a new job. Ditch any insecure environment where the company makes big cutbacks by outsourcing a lot of work.
2. You're Not Getting Promoted
Don't stay with an employer if there's no room for you to grow. If you're getting passed up for promotions or your requests for new duties are turned down, start looking for a new job where you can advance your career and hone your skills.
3. You Don't Support a Company Merger
If your organization is merging with a corporate powerhouse that doesn't support your eco-conscious values, stick to your beliefs and find something new. Don't work for an employer that causes you to question your personal values.
4. You're Bored With Your Duties
If you're going through the motions and bored with your work, it might be time to look for a new job that challenges you. Being bored at work often makes people too complacent.
5. Your Boss Is Taking Responsibilities From You
