The Job:

The EJD Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities with new accounts, growing sales and managing the existing account(s) through communication, existing programs and other sales related activities. The role will require strong communication and organizational skills that can consistently communicate (e-mail, website, phone, etc.) to assigned customers and prospects across a wide geography. This role will generate sales by working with customers to effectively develop and implement Emery Jensen programs and generate sales by working with customers and prospects to effectively place RSC orders, show deals, drop ship programs, special orders and promotions. The Inside Sales Representative must be comfortable making calls to prospects, their account(s), vendors, and internal team members.

What you will do...

• Deliver sales growth through existing and new customer base

• Be the first point of contact for EJD prospects that originate from Sales Effectiveness leader's targeted prospect list.

• Communicate to prospects, customers, vendors and internal team members effectively through phone, email, Teams, etc.

• Run reports multiple times per week to identify inventory on hand and cross reference to customer's requests.

• Occasionally input customer stock orders using POs and Stock Reserve

• Occasionally travel to visit customers, attend training meetings and industry events.

• Communicates to the necessary team needed to capitalize on opportunities or to resolve customer issues.

• Work with vendors on Drop Ship quotes for customers.

• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Position is based out of Oak Brook, IL
