Utilize graduate level research and analysis skills to prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and finance and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
Work on the implementation of new financial systems such as S4 Hana
Support Accounting Operations Managers to integrate new finance and accounting systems into the Autodesk ecosystem in the most efficient and automated manner
Be involved in gathering requirements, reviewing, and testing the processes, providing recommendation, process improvement or suggestions, and assist with data migration and work with the end-users on training
Analyze accounting, reporting and process implications of new finance and accounting systems and provide guidance to the business
Attend core stakeholder meetings for the new finance and accounting systems initiatives and provide feedback to the team on the integration of the systems
Assist in developing test scripts and performing user acceptance testing for new financial and accounting systems
Provide support for internal and external reporting requirements
Implement and document processes, controls, procedures, and policies as required to maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Work on designing the roles and responsibilities of the Autodesk finance teams on the new finance processes
Work with internal stakeholders to resolve defects, track backlog items, and alert management of issues needing attention
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a financial auditor-related occupation
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of Autodesk's San Francisco, CA office. Some telecommuting is permitted
Position requires some experience, or one semester of graduate level coursework in each of the following skills
Analyze current state business process and review proposed future state business process in S4
Analyze fit/gap for finance users, perform impact analysis and propose system and process changes to promote operational efficiency gains
Leverage finance/accounting and systems and business process knowledge to document requirements for the order to cash process areas
Identify test cases relevant for S4 system and business process changes
Identify data needs for testing and perform user acceptance testing based on knowledge of system changes
Analyze financial reports and data, prepare analysis, and create manual adjustments to finance general ledgers for accounts in the order to cash cycle
Data mining, analysis and cleansing to support data migration for system cutover
Develop and deliver training for end users of S4 in various finance teams to understand new system and business process changes
Monitor S4 production environment for bugs, defects and support defect resolution with analysis and testing
