We have an immediate opportunity for a Advanced Data Scientist who has a passion for understanding data through analysis and visualization, a strong fluency in customer requirements, a drive to continuously improve their skill set and knowledge base, and is passionate about partnering with others to provide novel data insights and improve our overall product offering.
Â· Dive deep into data to understand the context, summarize data for non-technical audiences, and develop engaging narratives to show how our organization can uniquely solve customer problems.
Â· Utilize analytical techniques and tools (i.e., Tableau, MindManager, Alteryx, etc.), where appropriate, to enhance deliverables
Â· Provide guidance and counsel to project/program leadership based on analysis of operational data with regards to business development opportunities
Â· Responsible for taking data analysis and insights capability to the next level; working with data infrastructure to ensure the data is consistently accessible, utilizing visualization options, and working with stakeholders to recommend and create new data deliverables
Â· Provide clear, timely, and accurate communication to project/program leadership or other appropriate audiences on analysis, findings, and key insights
Â· Deliver training to team members in areas where analyst has expertise, e.g., newly developed processes or datasets, additional systems for team accessibility, customer needs and requirements, new ideas for R&D efforts, etc.
Â· Supporting initiatives to ensure data integrity, normalization, and security
Â· Communicate and interact with internal and external customer sets, as needed
YOU MUST HAVE:
Â· Bachelor's degree
Â· 5+ years of experience with analytical projects, developing detailed analyses, and briefing results
Â· U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance
Â· 10+ years of experience with similar or adjacent customer sets
Â· Ability to multi-task supporting multiple projects concurrently
Â· Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn unstructured data/problems into easily digestible analyses and conclusions
Â· Previous experience analyzing requirements and developing actionable solutions
Â· Ability to operate independently and proactively and drive the business forwards
Â· Intermediate skills using Microsoft Excel or Alteryx
