    The Opportunity

    The Testing and Monitoring Analyst is responsible for conducting in depth reviews of Key Processes and Controls from within Ally Card. Responsibilities include identifying operational weaknesses, risk within processes and controls, training needs and overall deficiencies. Analyst is responsible for documenting and reporting results of the reviews in a timely manner as well as providing feedback and identifying process improvements. Additional responsibilities include collaboration and consultation with Managers and other Card Leaders regarding current control issues and activities. On site position in Wilmington, DE preferred, but position is WFH eligible.

    The Work Itself

    • Conduct ongoing testing and monitoring of Card processes to drive oversight of operational weaknesses, risks, and control deficiencies.

    • Initiate and facilitate walk through meetings with teams to capture necessary process information for control testing.

    • Track and maintain action items from testing and ensure items are remediated timely and procedure updates are made where necessary.

    • Maintain accurate and complete working papers that clearly document all findings and possible risk.

    • Complete one-off reviews to prepare for external reviews.

    • Maintain and reinforce the core principles of the Enterprise Testing and Monitoring Policy and all related Policies.

    • Support Issue Management process by validating Issues closures and enhancements.

    • Assist with management requests as necessary.

    The Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

    • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individual.

    • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

    • Able to understand risk and control concepts.

    • 1-3 years of banking operations experience required.

    • Experience with testing and monitoring of operational processes preferred.

    • Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills are essential.

    • Proficiency in Windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office and Excel) is required.

    • Ability to multi-task and to effectively process diverse workloads concurrently.
