1. DEVELOP AND SHIP GROUNDBREAKING PRODUCTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, AND CONTENT

2. RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING BREAKTHROUGHS AND DELIVERING THEM TO MARKET AT SCALE

3. DESIGN, DEVELOP AND TEST KERNEL SUB-SYSTEMS AND DEVICE DRIVERS

4. WORK CLOSELY WITH THE SYSTEM ENGINEERING, HARDWARE, AND QA TEAMS IN ADDITION TO FACEBOOKS MANUFACTURING PARTNERS

5. PARTICIPATE IN DESIGN REVIEWS AND CODE REVIEWS FOR THE SOFTWARE TEAM

6. PARTICIPATE IN REVIEWS OF BLOCK DIAGRAMS AND SCHEMATICS WITH THE HARDWARE TEAM

7. UNDERSTAND BOTH HARDWARE AND THE LINUX KERNEL

8. DESIGN, DEVELOP AND SUPPORT DEVICE SECURITY AND SECURE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

1. EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A MASTERS DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, COMPUTER ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR RELATED FIELD AND 48 MONTHS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN JOB OFFERED OR IN A COMPUTER-RELATED OCCUPATION. EXPERIENCE MUST INCLUDE 24 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE IN EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

3. CONTRIBUTING TO LARGE SCALE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

4. DEVELOPING ALGORITHMS AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE FIRMWARE AND SOFTWARE

5. KERNEL DEVELOPMENT FOR INDUSTRIAL AND CONSUMER ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS

6. EMBEDDED FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT ON X86 AND ARM PLATFORMS

7. DEBUGGING LOW LEVEL FIRMWARE LEVERAGING TOOLS SUCH AS JTAG

8. PLATFORM SECURITY, DEVICE SECURITY, SECURE BOOT, TRUSTED EXECUTION ENVIRONMENT, CRYPTOGRAPHY
