Position description The OEID advisor brings equity, inclusion and diversity (EID) expertise to Mayo to advance programs and provide consulting services to Mayo's sites and shields, as a member of the OEID team. The successful person is:
â€¢ Client relationship manager on EID topics for assigned site and/or shield. Brings clients best practices, tools, resources, training and subject matter expertise to support the client's success.
â€¢ Deep expert in specific EID topics; building programs, conducting research, and advancing Mayo Clinic's reputation in national healthcare.
Qualifications â€¢ A Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred, in a related field, which may include liberal arts, business, communications, marketing, human resources, human resources development or similar field and at least three years professional experience in field of equity, inclusion and diversity

â€¢ Experience in the creation, deployment, analysis and reporting of equity, inclusion and diversity initiatives
â€¢ Experience developing strategic equity, inclusion and diversity initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
â€¢ Experience working in a matrixed organization.
â€¢ Broad-based knowledge of equity, inclusion and diversity best practices and current strategies.
â€¢ Strong leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, active listening, persuasive, oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.
â€¢ Proven communications, consultative, planning and execution abilities.
â€¢ Work effectively in a consensus-style and collaborative environment that expects and promotes teamwork.
â€¢ Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
â€¢ Ability to inspire trust and confidence and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
â€¢ Work independently and collaboratively to prioritize and drive forward multiple projects.

â€¢ Position may require travel and the flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

Compensation Detail Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $3,670.40-$5,138.40 based on a full-time position.
