You Are:
A talented application PolicyCenter Technical Lead with deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter application solutions. You're skilled in all aspects of Guidewire implementation, from design and configuration to customization and support after the solution goes live. You enjoy working with people with all different skill sets, and you have a flair for negotiating and gaining consensus in a fast-paced environment. You have plenty-you're a master at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Planning and strategizing come easily to you, and you have a take-charge approach to seeing tasks through to completion.
The Work:
Implement the overall technical vision for projects, programs and systems, keeping in mind cross-functional impacts, integration across the organization and architecture rationalization;
Function as a subject matter expert and advocate for the software applications supported;
Oversee technical deliverables for maintenance projects through the software development lifecycle, including validating the completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, build, performance analysis and implementation;
Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact maintenance release schedules and/or financials;
Work closely with stakeholders to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and are consistent with the architectural vision;
Mentor and train project team members and peers, both internal and vendor partners to enforce development guidelines and best practices lead change by influencing and educating Business, IT and sourcing partners.
Manage and coach junior development team members.
Review and provide input into Architectural designs, requirements and test cases.
Here's What You Need:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with Guidewire PolicyCenter Configurations
Minimum of 5 years years' experience as Business Analyst within Insurance Domain
Experience in a minimum of 3 Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) implementations
Hands-on experience writing user stories, Integration Specifications, Mock-up, Field level specifications, type lists, Forms, Product Models, Advance Product Designer (APD) and/OR data mapping
Hands-on experience working on Guidewire data dictionary, Product design, underwriting rules etc.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience
Bonus points if:
Guidewire Cloud experience
Guidewire Ace certified in PolicyCenter
Expertise in designing the overall solutions on GW PC platform
Demonstrable experience as a Guidewire technical architect of an Agile development team accountable for delivering and maintaining complex technical solutions;
Demonstrable experience in developing technical and integration architecture
Demonstrable experience with Guidewire configuration and integration development using GOSU in Guidewire PolicyCenter V8, V10 and higher;
Demonstrable understanding of software engineering best practices and CI/CD pipeline
Demonstrable Guidewire GOSU language;
Demonstrable experience using Spring Batch Framework to support Workers Compensation related integrations with external and internal partners; Demonstrable proficiency designing, implementing and supporting packaged vendor products;
Apache and JBOSS Application servers;
Prior experience with either XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools;
Prior experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat;
Prior experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2;
Ability to engage different stakeholders (Configuration, Integration, Middleware and Legacy teams) to resolve issues
Prior experience within an Azure development environment is required

California: $100,400 to $224,600
Colorado: $100,400 to $194,100
New York City: $116,300 to $224,600
Washington: $107,00 to $206,700
Expertise in Architecting and expanding the solutions on top of GW OOTB functionalities
Expertise in writing GUnit test cases and integrate them to build/pipeline
