    What you get to do every day

    • Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner

    • Delegating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.

    • Welcoming patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

    • Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations

    • Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures

    • Maintaining phone calls within minimum rings and responding to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner

    • Tending to client forms

    • Providing support in the management of patient medical records

    • Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage.

    Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Basic Medical Terminology

    • Comprehensive knowledge of Receptionist Duties

    • navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience highly desired

    • Proficiency in customer service

    • Command of Spanish Language

    • Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred

    • 1+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist

    • High School Diploma required, A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred

      • You will be a top applicant if you have experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system, as well as social media platforms
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

    • Knowledge of medical terminology

    • 1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systems
