    Essential duties and responsibilities

    • Respond to a variety of requests by phone or email regarding parts ordering information, returns, item availability, quotations, and routing technical inquiries to technical support as appropriate.

    • Process sales, quotes and return orders in a timely manner.

    • Identify customer pricing level and payment terms.

    • Submit paperwork to Credit/Finance for new customer accounts and credit terms.

    • Process Purchase Order for customers with terms.

    • Process Credit Card orders for customers that are Cash in Advance.

    • Obtain freight prices from couriers for cash in advance and upon customer request

    • Educate customer on ordering process if necessary.

    • Identify emails for quotes and orders in the shared email box.

    • Cross train with other customer service associates to provide consistent service coverage.

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum HS degree/GED with some college; Associates degree preferred.

    • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in customer service and/or technical product support experience

    • Computer literate; experience with ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred

    • Strong drive to achieve customer satisfaction through good follow-up and closure procedures

    • Professional phone skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Must be an organized individual with a teamwork mentality

    Working conditions

    • Office working environment;

    • Frequent talking, hearing and keyboarding skills.

    • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

    Physical requirements

    • Little physical effort required
