Office is currently seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our multi-disciplinary team. We work on projects that are both local and non-local ranging from large technology companies, laboratories, healthcare, pharma, government and commercial. We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing sophisticated plumbing systems that align with our mission of Shaping a Better World. Responsibilities: + Contributing to the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of projects such as laboratories, healthcare, aviation, rail, higher education, and museums. + Collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to deliver project designs to meet project requirements and timelines + Undertaking and documenting engineering analysis work, including code research, load calculations, and equipment sizing, in a clear manner + Performing design and calculation review to confirm the accuracy of your work + Documenting systems design in Revit and AutoCAD + Coordinating with multiple teams, both internal and external and working in conjunction with project managers to help complete each project + Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings + Participating in local Professional Associations Required Qualifications: + Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in designing plumbing and fire protection systems + AutoCAD and Revit drafting experience, Revit preferred + Associate degree in mechanical, civil, sanitary, environmental, or architectural engineering, or commensurate years of experience.
