Overview An exciting opportunity is now open at 98.5KLUCin Las Vegas. The #1 Top40 morning show in Las Vegas, The Chet Buchanan Show, is looking for a newproducer. Main requirements: a Social Media content creation BEAST (on all platforms), video production, phone-op, curating and editing show audio, show prep. To begin, this is an off-air position, but can develop, in studio and on the streets. Must have a great work ethic, attitude and PASSION. Sound like you? Responsibilities What You'll Do: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Exemplary communication skills + Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, and to react quickly to changes + Excellent planning and organizing skills + Immersed in "pop-culture" and current events + Research topics for on air, online and social media. + Work with talent to identify appropriate topics and guests, schedules guests and help develop and implement strategic plans, goals and vision for the show. + Communicate with talent and appropriate departments to ensure that everyone is aware of every topic discussed or guest scheduled. + Daily social media curation including Facebook, IG, Twitter, TikTok, etc. + Audio / Video production experience. Ability to utilize editing software, EG: Adobe Audition, VoxPro, ProTools + Excellent writing and storytelling skills. + Write blogs, podcast programming, update stations website. + Recruits guests, screens callers and organizes contest winners. + Makes personal appearances as needed and assists with promos, commercials, liners, syndicated material and other on-air elements. + May be required to operate the control board during the show. + Reports directly to the Morning Show Host and KLUC Brand Manager Qualifications More About You: + Exemplary communication skills + Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, and to react quickly to changes + Excellent planning and organizing skills + Immersed in "pop-culture" and current events + Audio / Video production experience.
