    The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for creating brand awareness, account prospecting, qualifying leads, and building a pipeline of sales opportunities for the sales organization. It involves contacting prospective customers to promote AVEVA products through a variety of methods and an unwavering ability to develop quick relationships with prospects to define areas of need within their business. You will act as a bridge between Marketing and Sales, being conscious of all marketing initiatives while working towards company sales objectives.

    Responsibilities: You will do

    • Support the development, execution and ongoing refinement of an SDR sales process, defining key process steps, tools, resources and other support needed in order to efficiently conduct SDR activities.

    • Manage, process & qualify various forms of marketing generated leads in the DACH region (i.e. originating from events, digital marketing activities, requests via online contact mechanisms etc.).

    • Proactively prospect and build sales pipeline via outbound calling, e-mail, networking, social media, and other direct marketing methods.

    • Qualify sales leads based upon specific predefined criteria; driving leads through the SDR sales process.

    • Coordinate the first 25 - 30% of the sales cycle for Sales Teams, including account research, contact discovery, sales engagement, product presentation, and opportunity creation.

    • Execute sales and marketing activities to drive interest in OSIsoft events, products, and services.

    • Attend and support theater events and tradeshows to assist with customer engagement and lead generation.

    • Update and maintain lead, contact, and account records in Salesforce CRM.

    • Provide activity updates and reporting to Sales & Marketing Management and other stakeholders as assigned.

    We're looking for: You will have

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Account Management.

    • 1+ year experience in a Sales Development or Inside Sales type role.

    • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM for Enterprise Sales.

    • Working familiarity with prospecting tools such as Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

    • Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools.

    • Effective multitasking, self-starter skills, autonomy and positive attitude are required.

    • Skills to effectively communicate the value proposition of high tech products and services on the phone to new contacts, and capacity to handle rejection without impeding motivation.

    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills paired with willingness to listen; pivoting as required.

    • Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
