We are seeking a Senior Manager of Sourcing & Procurement to join American Tower's Supply Chain team within the Finance organization. The Supply Chain team strategically sources quality materials and services at the lowest total cost while enabling effective and efficient purchasing solutions and enhancing supplier partnerships. Day to day you willimplement effective category and commodity strategies, ensuring availability of goods and services. As a Senior Manager of Sourcing and Procurement you will partner cross-functionally to proactively enhance programs which protect the Company's interests.

Ensure organizational goals are met, including budget, savings, and supplier performance measures.
Negotiate favorable strategic supplier contracts with best terms and conditions; manage contract compliance.
Lead the resolution of major issues and align stakeholders and external vendor expectations to facilitate win-win scenarios.
Lead structured analyses of supplier industry, economics, and market conditions for the assigned commodities; keep teams current on key market indicators, commodity trends, and market intelligence.
Manage the total cost of the supplier relationship and participate in supplier scorecard evaluations and benchmarking.
Administer and verify that corrective actions are implemented for key underperforming suppliers as established through supplier quality metrics, scorecards, and audit reports.
Contribute to the creation of Supply Chain policies and processes and maintain supplier master policies and structure.
Identify areas for system enhancements; lead the technology development efforts for new functions and tools.
As a Senior Manager of Sourcing and Procurement you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management and career development of a sourcing team. You'll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.
Approximately 5% of time role will be performed outside conventional office environment.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Management; MBA preferred.
Minimum of five years professional Supply Chain and/or Strategic Sourcing experience required.
Minimum of three years of management experience required.
Wireless telecommunications industry experience, including sourcing, construction or operations, preferred.
Professional certification(s) preferred (CPM, CPSM or CPIM).
Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
