  • We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our US Architect team to help customers envision and build disruptive solutions on the Microsoft Cloud.

    The ideal candidate would have a broad and deep experience in Azure Cloud Services, Azure Security and Compliance, Zero-Trust platform, designing and implementing Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud solutions, Architect Presales and Program Delivery experience in working with CxO customer stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    You need to be a leader in demonstrating deep experience in architecture, planning, deploying cloud solutions including the following:

    • Proven experience leading Architecture teams in pre-sales, from deal-shaping and solutioning through to contract for large enterprise consulting engagements

    • Proven success and expertise in leading, architecting and delivering innovative cloud solutions in a client-facing role for large-scale enterprises

    • Proven success and expertise in leading large-scale complex presales consulting efforts

    • Demonstrated consistent record of building deep relationships with senior executives and helping to build innovative cloud solutions in large or highly strategic accounts

    • Consistent track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and building consensus amongst internal and external stakeholders

    • Demonstrated excellence when facilitating customer design and awareness sessions that are focused on complex application solution architectures.

    • Architectural understanding of and implementation experience across one or more of the leading cloud provider platforms (Azure, AWS, Google)

    • Demonstrate equal strength and architecture leadership capability throughout the lifecycle of complex engagement presale and delivery oversight, in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders

    • Resourceful, confident under pressure, and demonstrated skill in both crisis management and expectation management.

    • Embraces a growth mindset, thrives in a diverse culture and can navigate ambiguity

    Split Responsibilities

    Presales engagement

    • Support consulting sales team in defining the business outcomes and business capabilities of an opportunity

    • Bring solution architecture knowledge to ensure alignment to customer business objectives

    • Present Value proposition to CxO to secure large and complex opportunities

    • Leads and orchestrates the broader Microsoft team to address technical blockers and work with account/project team to resolve non-technical issues

    Business Development

    • Cross-group collaboration to align the vision and ISD value proposition with Product Group, Engineering and Industry Teams

    • Qualify new opportunities with the sales team and engage in early discussions with customers

    • Develops a deep network of internal/external relationships with senior-level decision makers at high-impact customers/partners to build influence in addressing problems/blockers and facilitating additional views on the matter of interest

    Project engagement

    • Review Solution Architect Quality insurance and alignment to expected business capabilities

    • Define Solution Roadmap with customer to expand usage and additional uses cases

    • Leverage Microsoft innovation and latest technologies to lead edge delivery

    • Leads oversight and program governance and establishment of quality practices and standards to realize the business solution for large projects.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR equivalent experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)

    • OR equivalent experience

    • Proven success and expertise in architecting innovative solutions in a client-facing role, and track record of delivering cloud technologies in large scale enterprises as technology leader

    • Proven success and expertise in leading complex presales consulting efforts

    • Proven experience in working with senior IT stakeholders, presenting to executive audiences and linking technical and architecture solutions to business outcome.

    • Technical or Professional Certification in Domain (e.g. Azure Platform/Identity /Security)
