  • A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Project Manager in Tempe, Arizona (AZ).Summary:A Supply Chain Project Manager is seeking a couple of Project Manager Supply Chain specialists. We are working directly with the Hiring Managers on this search assignment. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, etc. This global position is a key coordinating role in Supply Chain Planning for new business.Responsibilities include: * A Supply Chain Project Manager will work closely with Tier 1 customers teams and will have direct influence in developing the business processes associated with Product Lifecycle Management as the company grows * Expectation for this position is the ability to work independently as a focused professional * Work with Business Development, Engineering and Planning to ensure clear understanding of specifications and develop the product roadmap * The Supply Chain Project Manager will coordinate and lead teams to support unique service offering for spares throughout and customer's global internal and external network of Management, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and Logistics departments * Lend expertise and experience in Spare Planning to continuous development of the CKM business model * A Supply Chain Project Manager will execute the identification and planning of spares, virtual factory spares BOM's, supply chain management, and usage reconciliation * Support projects to increase effectiveness of material planning to improve inventory turns, increase response time and maximize material availability * The Supply Chain Project Manager will conduct BOM reviews, working group meetings, and ECF forums * Collaborate with prospects to synthesize business requirements around product lifecycle management * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * 5-8 years or more experience as a planner or related experience with inventory control, supply chain for engineering, and manufacturing companies * Emphasis in product planning, logistics, and overall supply chain management * Spares planning and production control is desirable * Knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, spares logistics and inventory control theories with prior experience related to semiconductor, medical, or related high-volume customers are desirable * Proven ability to work with internal teams and coordinate critical activities cross functionally * Experience in program management or project leadership of configurable products from the conceptual stage through to production for a global market * Excellent skills in Microsoft Office with specific high-level proficiency required in Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Table is highly desired) * Individual will demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills * SAP proficiency especially in sales, distribution, and materials management is a plus or other ERP or MRP systems Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
